This coutil fabric is imported directly from Whaley’s (WBL Fabrics) and is what the professionals use. It’s harder to get a crisper finish!
Few fabrics are as ideal for corset making than a cotton coutil. Made from 100% cotton in a tightly woven herringbone weave, this fabric is not only strong enough to create corsets but also molds to the body of the wearer thanks to it’s natural fibres.
This coutil is our DENSEST coutil. It has a stiffer hand than our SOFT coutil but a softer hand than our STIFF coutil.
It is suitable for dying.
If ordering more than 1 unit, you will be sent continuous amounts of 0.5m units. Ie. 3 units = 1.5 metres of continuous fabric.
